The top pic i recon is very close to the real deal, apart from the bonnet, its not like the pic.
It actually looks like a modern D4....
I hope it has a bit more room in the rear, larger fuel tank, and a roof that can take more than 75KG.
Maybe the tyre is on the rear to allow for battery space,so the models that are ICE only may have room for a large fuel tank.
All guessing again![]()
Yep... Agreed - still guessing!![]()

Just going to leave this here
Obviously couldn’t match the angles but I tried to size off wheel diameter
Now don’t get me wrong I always laugh at 200s etc dragging their rear quarters through mud steps and shake my head at the weight of rear barwork to protect the overhang
BUT how much loadspace will 2020 have
Any chance of rear seats?
We know LR are clever and innovative with seating layout so maybe possible or perhaps they are just banking on 6 seats being enough?
Perhaps the biggest issue will be fuel capacity - another LR with poor range with OEM tankage?

So you don't know about the Londolozi story then, They 'invented;' the Electric Defender for their Game Tour platform and invited LandRover to look at it who further developed it into the line up below .
Now they have been left high & dry & Most African game reserves are now converting Toyota troop carriers to full Electric. .
Yeah nice find, they were ma king the rounds before tusk, Both are way off when you compare against tusk and pilots, first one was done as pure speculation before tusk, without going into detail, bonnet and roof, guards, body panels etc are all very different..Tusk is our closest look+pilots front, rear & window frames.
Bottom one, grill, bonnet, mirrors, body lines are all off.
They both are pretty bad imo.
I recently spent quite a few weeks in game parks in East Africa,no EV's at all,and many companies have over 350 vehicles.
Thats not to say they aren't starting to use them
Some of the camps we stayed at were very remote and only had low voltage for lighting, and a small gen set for refrigeration,so an EV wouldn't be very useful at all.
They start off as single cab chassis 79,and convert them with a large fibreglass body, and extra seating, etc.
We found that the drone of the diesel didn't put off the animals at all,it actually drowned out any other noises.
It was more very loud intermittent noise, and movement that scared the wildlife.
On the farm when hunting we also notice that the steady noise of a vehicle engine doesn't scare off pigs,'roos, etc.
Often if the engine is turned off,the animal gets weary, they seem to not notice a constant noise,as said, its more movement,or a noise such as the click of a rifle bolt that scares them. The engine noise drowns out a noise such as opening a door, etc.
Just my 2 cents worth
