Hmmm, an all-electric one would be nice!

yes obviously my next 4x4 purchase will be 100% Electric , but which one . Ive gone off the boil on the E-Pace as we now have 2 x I-Pace in the family & decided its not my style.
The short list is now Defender, Bollinger B1 or Wrangler . ...... Ive already signed for the Bollinger ( but non binding )

LandRover are losing credibility fast by showing that hideous looking clown wrapped Bobtailed RangeRover in Autocar .
JLR - I know you read this, ... Just show us what the Defender looks like.
Jlr knows men don't spend money anymore nowadays.
Women do
New defender will be interesting
This Bollinger really looks the thing. If it only had the green oval... I never heard about it so far, shame about me. Until now I was prepared to wait until Tesla would launch their 'ute'/pick-up truck but since no one knows how far down the pipeline this one is the Bollinger seems a very interesting alternative. Thanks for sharing!
Strangely enough, Land Rover had an all-electric Defender running on one of their premises already several years ago. Haven't heard anything about it since, which I consider a real pity.

The Carsales article is just a re-write of the latest Autocar one. Long on supposition, short on facts.
Obviously the new Deefer will be built on an adaptation of an existing body pan. It wouldn't make economic sense to do otherwise.
Equally obvious is that, if they wish to recapture the market they once had, there will need to be a SWB, LWB and utility variant.
If I add a couple of hundred "fluff" words, throw in a reference or two to "unnamed sources within JLR" and a couple of mash-up pics, I've just written an article about the new Defender! (With about as much relevance as the Autocar/Carsales one).

Fluff and supposition. Drivel and dross. Surface veneers and window dressing. The image, the hipster beard, the spray on mud, the ski lodge-looking mega showroom, the romanticisation, the design conformity, the past glory embarrassment, the fluff and supposition. Is there a Defender in there ...anywhere???

I think the DC100 five door actually looks good, except for the front overhang which looks to create a bad approach angle. The wheels look quite large, which is good, but may have confused some people's ability to judge the proportions.
