Just imagine if cars were sold out of airports. I mean, it's $12 for a Mrs Macs Pie. I remember the Ford Capri, built here, sent to the US, and sold for half of what it cost here, plus the Aussie dollar was much stronger then. Pricing will be very interesting. I'll be sticking with my 95 110 thank you very much. New Deefers better leak when it rains, or it won't be the real deal. They may have designed that in for nostalgia.

It will be sold as a part of the nostalgia pack which will include:

• drivers seat moved closer to the door and behind the B pillar
• all seals removed from doors
• special rain capture drip ports located directly above the feet
• "Authentic" rattles and squeaks piped through the audio

I understand it will be initially priced at AUD2500.

Did you order in SA or interstate?

We've specced ours but no price for the 6cyl diesel ATM as my experience with 4cyl to tow 2500kg is less than positive when compared to our D4

Is that the price the dealer is expecting,or the price you are expecting,with the dealer not knowing the cost?

My guess is it will be more,going on HSE,petrol,and extensive options.

Just my 2 cents worth.

We have budgeted on $100K,but need to have a very good look at it first.

We are in no rush,just hope the D4 goes for a while yet,and it will.
