That's actually not too bad all things considered. Ignoring old Defender pricing entirely and just looking at what it is and does and has and represents as a vehicle. That's mid spec LC200 territory pricing (during deals time). A significant chunk of coin, yes but really not that much more than the Japanese-based Ute and SUV brigade when you are talking the higher series and this thing is in another league. As an aside...I'll be interested to see if the aftermarket can squeeze 18s over the bigger brake pack. On paper the brakes read much like the L320/322 4 pot Brembo set up so I'm quite hopeful. 19s are no-mans land for 32/33" tyres and 20s are giving a bit too much sidewall away for my preferences.
