No and I doubt they will as they have never done it for the Discovery. This is totally down to LRA.

Exactly. That and it does not fit the luxury image they are trying for here in Australia.

    Aussie pricing

Plus the Commercial version in unique to the UK where there are tax benefits. I would not expect to see it here.

A couple of observations on the pricing.... looks like you cannot get HUD unless you get the HSE at $127k ( +ORC ).
If you want the satin film at $5k, you also must spec the contrast roof and metallic paint at about $2k each.
Typically, tow hitch receiver is not standard on any badge ($949 across the board).

A glimmer of hope the Commercial version could get to Australia - as reported on whichcar.com.au

James Scrimshaw, Land Rover Australia’s PR manager, telling us, “We are interested in bringing the commercial variants to Australia and will be ordering evaluation units once they are made available to us.”

    Well, that's good news.

There are FBT benefits (ie FBT exemptions) here if the payload is over 1T.

Interestingly, the Discovery Commercial version (in the UK) has a lower payload and GVW than the standard version....which makes no sense to me.

Being able to get your 20% VAT back in the UK certainly makes these versions attractive.

Without rear seats etc, surely would be over 1T, D5 is 950kg without 3rd row from memory

Here we go "bare bones" defender price on the road.

Bare Bones in Australia is certainly not Bare Bones with things like keyless entry, air suspension, offriad tyres, tpms, semi powered front sests, cruise, 360 degree cameras etc.
