not far off Vern, if you have to add the +2 row of seats (i have and that adds a whole lot of other options (3 zone climate etc), which are not optional :) ) and the e-diff,

I went for the SE model has it seemed to have most things i want.. I could not go for a Patrol, my bro-in-law has one, therefore its a matter of principal to have
something different ;)

Small fuel tank is an issue with the P400,particularly if towing.

SE seems to be a popular compromise, which has been my selection. With only 2 of us, the room in a 110 is more than adequate, especially for touring,
our RRS had ample space, however the 90 may be a whole other issue

Like all modern Land Rovers, (D3/4/5/RRS), 88 litre tanks means the need to carry jerry cans is always possibly there.. imho even for the diesels..
Hopefully someone will come out with an after market larger capacity tank.. trying to find somewhere to install it will be interesting

The SE would be our selection as well.

We had ample room in the D4, until the grandkids arrived.[bighmmm]
They often come away with us, and absolutely love it.[bigsad][biggrin]

On the fuel tank note,the D4,supposedly has a usable 82liters,but as many have found out its really around 76l,so it will be interesting to see what the real usable of the 110 is.

I was hoping the new 110 may have some spare room for batteries,which may leave room for an aftermarket fuel tank.

I know that, but I think 6.1 is a bit optimistic, the official figure is 8.5, which is still pretty respectable. I do like the V8 Patrol by the way!
As a matter of interest I was also wondering about the driveability/handling etc of 400HP in a 90.

Actually, I notice on performancedrive.com.au, they give the 2019 Patrol a 7.1 sec time for 0-100. I will have to update my SUV 0-100 spreadsheet. In saying that, their 2018 time was 8.1. .....don't know what is going on there.

I got my info from Wheels magazine, not saying they're spot on either, but that's where I got the info!

I had a figure of 6.6 seconds[emoji38]
But I have seen figures from 6.2 - 7.1.

So I contacted Land Rover Australia's "Customer Relationship Centre" and said: "I want to buy a new Defender 90 NOW as my current vehicle is about to run out of it's lease. Can somebody at LRA please tell me - what is the actual release date for a Defender 90 here in Australia? I can wait - but not forever. What is the release date?"

Their reply was: "To clarify, the new Defender 90 will start to arrive inAustralia from early 2021."

So nothing really new there... I just thought that I would pass it on.

I also said in my email: "The marketing “hype” around the new Defender is actually becoming quite boring – when will the vehicle actually be available? I know that Covid19 has caused some delays – but this has to be the longest “release” of a new vehicle in history..."
