Well, do you wave at Disco 3/4/5's....

PS. If they are using it for what it was intended for, then I would.
PPS. If they bought it to be a show pony, then you have to edumakate them in the Landy wave anyway!
Life is just a series of obstacles preventing you from taking a nap.

    Ditto!

And even though I'm Deeferless now I still wave!

Unfortunately no one waves back to D2's.....

    A fair and valid question...

*Does a series Land Rover owner wave to a 110 owner?
*Does a 110 owner wave to a Defender owner?
*Does a series Land Rover owner wave to a Defender owner?
*Can a series Land Rover owner even wave to anyone with all that concentration being used to actually drive the vehicle?
*Some might say to get out your pitch fork and burn the witches.
*if a tree falls on a Defender in the forest and there is nobody around, was the Defender even there?

Personally I wave to all 110, Defender and series Landy owners and quite often Discovery 4 owners (as it's likely to be the last decent Land Rover to be built (only time will tell on the "new" Defender))

*As its likely to be a fashion statement while driving off to buy a chi latte then I am likely not to wave at the driver of a new Defender.
    Regards

I looked up, thought nice new car and drove past. Mind you it is a nice new car.

But... to be honest I have way more customers with last model "Defender classics" (are we calling them that yet?) that own and drive them as nothing more than a "cool thing to have" (yes a fashion statement).

The look on the sales droid at the jeep showroom last week when SWMBO haggled with him for a free loadspace mat "to catch the sheep poop" in the back of her potential new Rubicon was pretty priceless. He then went on to estimate the 8/10 Rubicons are bought for pose value.
