    MY21

Picked this up from another forum regarding changes for MY21. Note the reference to a D250 6 cylinder diesel which I hadn’t heard before.

The 3.0 diesel has three different tunes .. I wonder if the aftermarket boys would be able to do their magic tricks to get the higher power/torque from the "smaller" unit ????

Pricing is getting interesting. Only an extra $1900 to go from the S spec D250 to an SE spec D300. Hmmmm....MY21

Looks like they are not doing a 110 First Edition in the new 6cyl plants.

But still a bit disappointing that they are changing the engine line up so quickly after launch.

The 4cyl diesels will be vary rare, but struggling to see why someone would buy a 240SE over a 250SE. I suppose the fact that it’s a year older would mean it’s naturally a bit cheaper anyway on resale, but unless the 250 is going to be $5k more on road than the 240 same spec was this is a real kick
In the guts for early adapters.

Was thinking the same Hagrid. Bad marketing exercise to release this when the early adopters are still receiving their orders as well. Would be a different story if the first deliveries all arrived 6 months ago.

I had a similar sour taste in the mouth when I bought my D2 - bought it just before the D2A was released so ended up with the batch with no CDL internals.

I had a factory order for a MY09 D3 but some time after the order was accepted I was told that the ordered colour was no longer available and was given 24 hours to change the colour because it was about to be scheduled to be painted. I cancelled the order as I didn't like any other colour then waited to place an order for a D4. The dealer retained my original deposit for the D4 order once D4s could be ordered. The dealer retained the D3 order and changed it to white for stock. It was sold before it landed.
