    Compatible bike rack

Hi. I've just bought a D300 HSE 110 and my current tow ball bike rack doesn't fit due to the spare tyre. Has anyone had any success with a tow ball rack which fits the new Defender?

Another vote for ISI, bulletproof design which doesn't impact departure angles

I don't have one, but they look good. Can you lock your bike into the carrier for security with these?

I don't think so. You'd have to use a bike chain or something to make it secure.

Not long ago we (as in my school) bought a Shingleback MTB trailer. These things are incredible. They're an absolute first class bit of kit and very HD!

I was worried about the loops, but I've seen the kids swing off them and they are rock solid. The picture is not ours, but ours is the same.

    simple solution

    I like it simple.

    I use a
Thule 970 Xpress 2 Bike Towbar Mounted Bike Carrier

    with a

SCA Towing Hitch 2250kg Removable Long Reach
    $82.99

The carrier sits well clear of the rear tyre and is super easy to remove. If you need to carry 6+ bikes then you could PS me for a custom made very HD swing out carrier that I had made some years ago and do not use since the kids have grown and now own cars.

    Hitch Extender

You could consider a hitch extended such as Hitch Extender 9" Hole To Hole | Outback Equipment or Hitch Extender 14" Hole To Hole | Outback Equipment if none of the above solutions are acceptable.
