    Walkthrough fridge

Bit hard to get to a dealer for a look whilst in lockdown.

Anybody know if you could fit a 40l Engel fridge between the front seats with only two front seats and the walkthrough option? Might help with load space, especially in a 90.

    Thanks for your thoughts.

There are three options, the huge console, the jump seat or nothing between the front seats as a walkthrough option.

I suspect there isn’t a wide enough space between the front seats for a fridge but it might be nice if there was.

We have the 35L,it’s a cracker, but won’t fit between the front seats.

Not cheap, but great, and very quiet, unlike the old Engle that started keeping us awake at night while camping.

The First Edition Defender that I ended up buying came with an 11L centre console fridge that I would never have chosen if I'd picked the options for myself, but man I love it. I'll probably get away with a smaller fridge in the boot for trips because I can chill drinks and defrost a meal up front while I'm driving.

Thanks all for the responses. Sounds like a refrigerated console might be the way to go, with the Engel elsewhere for extended touring.

Cruiser Consoles do a centre console that you can mount the smaller time fridges in to and then use the lid of the fridge as an arm rest.

Lot of people doing them in 70 series cruisers don't know how they would go in a Defender
