    Defender Suspension Deep Dive

This was posted on one of the FB groups, a Toyota Suspension Engineer has discussed the new suspension on the defender. Lots of clear photos and descriptions on all the bits. I found it an interesting read

Very informative and some nice clear photos regarding the suspension configuration and operation. Thanks for the link.

Very similar to my L494 RRS suspension and undoubtably the FF RR and D5.
Lots of bushes to wear/fail and the two ball joints lower down at the front are easily damaged. I was looking at mine while doing the front diff oil change and noticed both ball joint boots on the LHS were damaged from my last off road drive. I'd say I picked up a stick which tore the rubber.

The INEOS Grenadier is looking good for my next vehicle. It's coming down to the Grenadier, 300 series or MUX.
