    90 Rear Seats

Hi, Was looking at a 90, the other day and found that the rear seats don't fold down flat. A bit annoying, and when I asked our very knowledgable salesman if I could take one or both out he said it can;t be done as it would interfer with the airbags. True or false. He also seemed to think we would be better off with a 110 instead. Thanks

The rear seat base on a 90 can be removed, meaning the seats will lay flat.

However - there is still the rear cross brace in a 90 (apparently it’s structural). The 110 doesn’t have the brace.

It depends what you want the room for? I rekon you could sleep in the back of a 110, no chance in a 90.

I bought my 90 from Shepparton LR- great to deal with and they will ship interstate.

I love my 90 - it suits me perfectly. I have other vehicles for my hardcore camping.

    Cheers,
    GG

Oh - I can’t remember the name but there is a YouTube clip showing you how to do it.

And if you don’t need rear seats - consider a 90 Hardtop? I think that you can buy them now - they don’t have rear seats…

I asked if I could change my 90 order to a hardtop and the dealer said they weren't available in Oz, I suggested he check the au website which stated otherwise, so still waiting to see what the go is as mine is due for production in the 1st week of December.

Thanks for responses, I was pretty sure they wen down, we don't need to sleep in it, tow a small van , but need it as a farm run about so can put tools in the back. Didn't bother to ask about the van after he went to his desk and came back with a photocopied sheet saying it has all we need to know. Does not inspire confidence to go ahead and hand over a lot of money.
