    Flat battery

Are these types of problems common with a flat battery ? Jeez, would be a problem in the bush with the amount of electronic stuff doing weird things: Oh no ! - The New Defender 90 L663 Gets a Flat Battery & Throws Its Toys Out The Pram ! - YouTube

    When all else fails, reboot.

Do you suppose you'd get a phone call from a nice British lass if you were stuck on the CSR?

So it draws 10Amps,for 10 minutes every time the door is opened.

You would have to wonder WTF the LR engineers were thinking.

    No, not that much.

Reason hes having so many problems is that little CTEK isnt remotely providing enough power to deal with a low battery and keep the power up...

They've had the doors opening and closing working on the vehicle and just drawn it down too far.

I'm sure LR will come through with a download that has a "system hibernation mode"...in the mean time it's a nuisance but manageable. Locking it and using the rear door as access when camping will reduce the current draw. Carrying a jump start pack is essential.

And I'd be happy to lend you my jump start pack after you forget to turn off your parking lights.

Now back to real world opinions from people with direct experience.....
