"Wake Up Timer" function in the INCONTROL app

Having downloaded the App, I've come across this function buried in the settings.

The only reference I can find after google went looking was in the Range Rover Evoque Handbook:

Can anyone shed light on this?

Could this function be adapted by Land Rover for a "camping mode"?

In the twelve odd years I've been a member here one of the things I've enjoyed is that people have the freedom, within established guidelines, to post whatever they want, and others have the freedom to ignore said posts. These freedoms have never been arbitrary. If that's changed I think I have the right to know.

Nothing has changed. It was a polite request. As the author of this thread, I have the right to request it to try to keep things tidy at least as long as the value is there. Please respect that request.

As far as I'm concerned, that has happened here. See the difference?

Back on topic, the best thing is to hope someone does an aftermarket mod to the vehicle.
And they will probably be in the UK.

LR will never do anything, have they ever listened to what customers want?

Thinking more about this, what you could do is email someone like powerfuluk and see if they can help, noting LR do have some sort of battery shutdown in other models, and it would be good if it could be modded so it is user friendly for camping,as an example,in Defender.

    Are you telepathic?

    I've just done that!

Hopefully Simon can shed some light on this

The SMEG has been left idle while Christmasing interstate from 21st through to 27th.

4 days in the remote had this message:

    2022_12_27_06.58.01.jpg

    and this

    2022_12_28_06.37.17.jpg

As far as I can tell there is a sleep function that preserves the battery after a set period of time.

The battery was charged at 12.7 volts when I left and after 6 days was at 12.4 volts. The car was locked for the duration.

I wonder if this function could be made user operable as a camping mode.
