The old one rides better with a load in the back....several bags of Pontiac potatoes for instance. Which chippery is that?
I also like this. Had the same on the D4. Very helpful when backing the boat down a ramp. When the rear wheels are just about in the water I'm usually about the right depth for trailer.
Also I have 2 programmed memory settings as I'm pretty much the only driver. 1 for normal reversing and another for the boat ramp aimed at the rear wheels.
8 months and 10000kms: just how bloody good this car is. Comfortable, poweful, functional and just so damn nice to look at.
Easy to clean, love having no carpets makes a vacuum so easy.
Just did first oil service, the 32000km interval specced by JLR is just too damn long. Ive got the P400SE now, and after 10,000km, the oil that came out was like from my D4 SDV6SE 3.0 diesel. No way i would have let that go to 3x as long.
Their early evening chips are more to my taste than the after pub closing version. As the shop is a short walking distance from me neither the Bilsteins or the fancy airs get to compress and rebound to deliver Yeeros with chips....only "shank's pony" [biggrin].
6 months on an exhaust rebreathing diesel is fine and way better than the JLR recommended intervals as we all know. I would have thought a petrol powered straight 6 would have cleaner oil after 6 months, all im saying i was not expecting an oil so black after 10000km on this motor.
