    Need for tool

I need a tool for transmission temp. I have a Disco 4 and LR insisted no oil cooler. Now with burnt oil and new gearbox. I tow. I will check temp of gearbox oil in new defender and install oil cooler if temp goes above temp set by automotive experts. I need the tool to prove to LR that I need a cooler for heavy towing. They didn't want to know me when their advice cost me $10000 last time.

    The GAP tool work perfectly

I ordered my IIDTool BT G3 and once I had it, I registered it and requested the beta Defender software. Worked like a charm. Can even add keys! Bluetooth tool

I highly recommend the GAP tool. I have used it on previous Discos and L322s and is very easy to use. I have just used it to enable approach & walk-away locking and Dynamic mode on my L663 130.

    some added info...

*if you are having issues resetting the service light on the 4cylinder models...
*This info is for the GAP tool but a customer had said the dealer couldn't reset the service light either.
*Select another Land Rover model that uses the same engine, i tried a range rover sport and a evoque, i think 2017 and i was able to reset the service light.

I emailed GAP asking if their BT unit is suitable for L663. The positive response I got gave me the confidence to decide to order one when funds permit.

I have the BT unit for my D4. Gap will change over to my L663 when I get it. Just need to send them the codes.

Could someone with a Gap tool please confirm that the live values display for active damper actual and demanded current shows other than zero current once moving?

This display for a vehicle with excessively firm shocks where the firmness doesn't increase when the electrical connector on a shock is removed (this disables active dampers aka CVDs) shows zero actual and demanded current for all 4 dampers while moving. The Gap tool has the latest s/w installed.

Apparently at least 2 other new L663s have excessively firm shocks but dealer checking doesn't reveal any faults.
