    Maybe, maybe not. The UK coastguard guys tried these out for a while on their tidal mud flats and they went great. The footprint of a caterpillar track on each corner had a lot to do with that. I reckon it would have similar abilities on other types of substrate. I would love to own one and try it. If I ever win lotto, one of these sets would be on my shopping list.....

    The Australian Army trialled one of these way back then, it didn't proceed with buying any for one reason or another, but the trials Series 2A 109 GS survives today, it is owned by Uncle Ho in Qld, he is a forum user in here JFYI, cheers dennis
