    2018 Range Rover Production Line

I did the factory tour (and Land Rover Experience) a couple of years ago. I reckon it was well worthwhile. The robot choreography was fascinating.

It was interesting that vehicles coming down the line were not just one model or even marque - there was a mix. All the parts are bar coded to ensure the right bits go to the right vehicle.

Note the protective plastic moulded forms that cover the body during construction. Note also the rotating drums of ostrich feathers in the dust removal area prior to painting.

Building the plant and then the commissioning would have been a massive job, then the on going repairs, modifications, etc, amazing.

It would have been interesting to see the first few go through,i bet some vehicles went to the scrap heap.
