I find if anything with constant 4wd system a Detroit in the rear adds to safety and steering especially on loose surfaces.

Hate to say it, but it looks, from the film, to be entirely driver error to me. Heck, I've done it, as have most here. But the track didn't have any dragons. He just missed.
