    pedantic alert!

    RV8 was first used in the P5(named P5 due to a need for more power, not the P6.
    As I remember(but with a note that my memory is fragile sometimes! ) .. it was the 3 lt six that 'needed help' .. not the P6's 4 pot.
    Mercs and Jags had more power and refinement than the 3lt six.

    P6 only really became underpowered later in life(70's) as a 4 banger compared to the opposition.

    Also not a fan of the presentation style.
    I reckon you can still be 'entertaining' without the use of 'homey' attitude!
