Can you answer a couple of questions about the vehicle?

1. Are you sure it's Series 1? There were only a small number of military Series 1's in Australia. (an Army 80", some civvi spec S1's for the Navy, a few ceremonial S1 88" and some ex-British MoD S1s imported and left or privately imported.
2. Are you sure of it's date? (1958 were Series 2, the first contract purchase for S2 88" wheelbase "Command Reconnaissance" was signed in December 1958 but the vehicles were actually 1959 models.)

This will give us a better idea of its value.

Ok so after seeing it today , it's a 58 series 2 military command reconnaissance 1/4 ton 1439 xxxx Needs Reso but it's all there . Couldn't be happier :-)

So, did you buy it?

The chassis number is not far from my S2 C/R 143900344 cheers Dennis
