    It's aliveee Aarrggghhh!

30-146 can talk to the world

Well a little bit of it on 6m and only at about 3W PEP but she's getting out. Yippee.

Both the 77 and the 524! Although there was a little bit of trouble with mikes not working.

Thanks BB you have been a wonder. I can't thank you enough.

(That is not taking anything away from Bobslandies, who has been an outstanding help and driving force as well.)

Bad news today, was masking up the drivers door for the "recon triangle" and decided it needed to be a little to the rear, so lifted the tape to reposition it. Tape came off O.K. but so did a lot of the paint.

Now I have Australian olive-drab poking through British MoD green and it looks all yukky.

Didn't want to have to re-paint the car so soon. There is always something.

    Found and ordered! Thanks John.
My FFR now has five balls

Bad luck it was after Australia Day. I didn't think they would actually arrive after the Yanks have been so funny about ex-mil radio stuff.

Sorry Ian I called you John in the original reply.

I also now have a 14 X 14 tent, the second end arriving this morning and Bill has arranged a set of poles and knuckles!

Not only does FFReddy have 5 balls, he also has 2 new radios.

And re-covered vinyl on the operator seats!

    Hi Diana,
    Looks good.
Will post some pics of my clansman equipment and proposed mounting plan.
Just need 1 table for the 77set, amp and MT1029 mount.
PS I only have one ball.
    Regards
    Doddy

    Hi,
    Please tell me more.
I have the same gear to attach and as Arfa isn't authentic a reproduction table will not be out of place.
    Regards
    Peter

Where did you source the F3 setup?

A mate AAVA had the F1/F3 sitting in his shed, but I'm still looking for the battery station to go with it and a few cables as well as the CY-2577 power supply for the range booster on the 77set. There is a member of the MLU forum who has threatened to build some but it hasn't happened yet. So am on the lookout for the socket on a dead 22 or 77 battery to make the adapter myself.

The table in the last image is a reproduction, one of a pair, but when I acquired four original tables you now see fitted I disposed of one to a mate and still have one left.
