The system is getting a decent workout at the moment

Currently 43 degrees at Karijini……everything you touch inside the defer is hot, we have a evaKOOL infinity fridge with divider in place, have had to drop the set temp from -16 to -19 to keep the fridge side cool enough. Fridge is working pretty hard

    Plus chasing shade…..

Running the 12v fans on higher settings….

And having added a big storage box on the roof…..

Refusing to do the short drive from campsite to visitor day parking.

We are still getting by on the set up……not quite getting to 100% SoC each day but haven’t run out either.

Interesting the solar has performed slightly better today even though it well into the 40’s

Something I learnt about solar and these charts, the solar can't work unless you use it. I can have my car at work for days on end and make next to nothing in solar with the fridge off.. But if the fridge is on, everything ramps up. So the fact that your fridges and fans are working harder corresponded with the overall higher generation.

This is different from home systems that can punch the grid at full ball

Nearly two years on tie road and I have to look into why the battery is not charging as quick as it should.

I rarely check the Enerdrive app these days as well I never have had to.

Only sending ~30 ish amps to the battery.

Normally the DC-DC sits on 40amp and I also see additional from the solar.

Hmmm, will have to get out the manual to make sure setting haven’t changed and I’ll also check all the cable connections.

    Do DC-DC wear out??

Are you saying when running from alternator the Dc-Dc isnt throwing its usual charge?

I'd suggest checking all connections first

Yeah, DC-DC was alway be putting around 40amp into battery which is what it is set at…..well as I have solar input as well I always have to check the solar controller than minus this from total amps to check what the DC-DC is doing.

I’ve pulled the plug on the solar, will see if this makes a change to the DC-DC as we’re driving.

Have checked all connections and they seem fine.

I’ll shoot Enerdrive an email once I double check everything. There tech support was good prior to change of ownership, I assume it’d be still good although I see they no longer comment on the Facebook page.
