Tdi diesel gas not using gas!

I've just bought a 97 disco tdi with a gas system. After using a tank of diesel I've realized the gas isn't being used. Question is what can I test to see what's up?

The tank valve is on and the gauge on the tank reads full. The tank came full when I bought the car.

The system uses a zafolli converter with an autogas system that was installed in 08 in bunbury wa by farmport.

Gas gauge on the dash reads full tank, light flashes till warm, then stays on, therefore I assumed it was working.

    I'd appreciate any help, cheers

    Zafolli?

Not familiar with that system. Seeing your vehicle is non-electronic injection it may be boost pressure activated. Look for a hose from the inlet manifold to a MAP sensor or the converter and see it is connected tightly.

Bit of an update... I got in touch with the installer who was happy to help over the phone.
So I've checked both solenoids on the converter, they both click and operate properly.
Then the vapour lock I tested by inserting a syringe into the vacuum hose to the computer. Gas system on and operating and send pressure, vapour lock should click. It didn't.
So do same with multimeter over solenoid +ve and neg and got a voltage.
Tried again with syringe and it started working. Possible stuck plunger, or weak effort on the syringe?

So down to the tank solenoid. Engine warm and running. Turn of gas button, turn on, then bring to 1500rpm, and the tank solenoid should click. But no!

So trace the earth and "hello, what's that rusty little tek screw doing..."

Next step redo earth at tank and test again. If all four work I should be in business...

Update, after looking very closely at the bonnet At 100klm hr, and subsequent wait at the panel beaters I've had, another go.

After replacing the tank solenoid, BINGO!, hello powerhouse!

This thing goes better than my d1 v8 manual!

    Excellent!
