The retailers must love us using nice terms like "testing new highs". Bugger me, it's just bloody gouging. There should be re-regulation of fuel as it is an essential expense

About 3 months ago LPG at the United servo near me was 66.9c/litre
last week it was 79.9c/l and today it is 89.9c/l..........what the hell is going on? That's a huge jump. I filled up yesterday arvo at 79.9 and today it is a full 10c higher in one day!:eek::mad::mad::mad::confused:

Filled up the rangie with LPG today, didn't take much notice of the price initially until I noticed that the Litres figure and the Dollars figure were both in the 60s. Price was 87.7 cents per litre. I think it was only as far back as early January that I was paying around 40cents per litre.
My daughter has just acquired her grandmother's old VS commodore and we were planning on getting it put on LPG for her. Really wondering whether it is worth it now. There was quite a fuss in the media a few eeeks back when it jumped to 65 cents, now here's another 22 cents per litre, 30+ percent increase.
Been seeing 80 to 88 cents for a while now when not in the city.
Should ask if we can get it for the same price we sell overseas for. Wuold be laughing then.
It's the retailers to blame. They will take as much money as they can gouge out of our wallets. There used to be a reflection of cost and profit margin in retail sales prices... since de-regulation it's rip as much from the community as you can.
The sale of anything essential to life in the community needs re-regulating. No matter what big business and the pollies keep saying, this all out pursuit of profits is going to lead to revolt at some point.

my last fill up was 79.9 cpl with the BP card and 2c off 77.9 previous fill up was 58.9 cpl , I suspect the prices will climb and will stay there,same as what has happended to ULP.:(
You should hear the Mexicans squeal in Normanton, where LPG is on par with ULP which I would estimate at 170-180 cpl today.
