OK, I better get around to this one .... I have noticed if I run full throttle in 3rd gear for more than about 5 seconds .... we lean out and die

It has an OMVL R90 /E ... the mixer ring is sprint MOT1505

Do I open the big brass power valve a turn ? or try adjust the mixer mixture screws a fraction of a turn at a time and see how it works out.

The car runs lovely on gas other than this (and it hating cold running on cold mornings where it'll ice up if I don't run it on petrol until the engine warms slightly).
