    Hi Pedro,
The ecu was for a 4.6 but will also suit a 3.9. The cost was about $380ish landed. I don’t have the part number, I sent them a photo of the original. It came with leads and a link for the latest software, install is basically plug and play with a little tuning, this was done at Graeme Coopers. I don’t have any pics of the new unit but this is the original.

Daft question, how do you test them ? We've clocked up 250k on the gas injection system that still pulls cleanly, idle is slightly rougher than when first installed but we're also talking about a 400k engine. The system starts on petrol and cuts to gas when warm, it used to be a silk smooth cutover that could be done at full throttle now its misses once on cutover and then runs ok. I'm wondering if its just general wear and nothing to worry about or are the injectors due to be replaced.

I’m not a mechanic so a lot of that is left to the eggberts. I’m not sure you can test an ecu without specialist equipment. As far as injectors are concerned, maybe Bee Utey can answer this one.

Most software packages let you shut down one LPG injector at a time and run that cylinder on petrol. That lets you isolate a crook injector. Sometimes back flushing them with throttle body cleaner helps. Looking at the tuning with a laptop lets you see from the injector times how far out of tune your LPG is. A simple thing to try is to adjust the regulator pressure if you can find the screw, as often wear drops their delivery pressure. Setting up your own laptop with the correct software is the best method though, nothing beats seeing live data as you mess around.

Not a bad idea getting the software, I'll track it down. I didn't realize you can shut sown an injector at a time, that's a handy feature. Thanks for the idea.
