    LPG Injection questions

Hi all, just wondering is the injection systems supposed to make a ticking sound when running. It only appears to come from one side only. New to this injection thing.
Also anyone one know of someone in the Geelong area that can remap the lpg ecu, as mine has bugger all power below 2500 rpm compared to when it's on petrol. I am getting dragged off by buses and semis.

The injectors generally rattle away,a sort of ticking noise.

    As for the second question,no.

An injected LPG works very well. I ran one on the D2 for many years. Had more torque than 98 petrol. And close to the power, but smoother than petrol. So something wrong there. Cheers

Yep, The D2 runs better all-round on LPG, the LPG injectors are only good for 100K, I did have one fail.
Mine rattled a lot at idle..

what LPG ECU are you running?

Had four work vans running injected LPG,two recently pensioned off ,both done well over 300000 Km,the other two are in the 200’s,never replaced an injector.

They rattle from new,the gas guy did say if the engine is rough and what he called fluttery at idle,it’s usually an injector, and they are not rediculously expensive, whatever that means.

They run Landi Renzo brand I think it’s called.
Did have to replace a converter on one of them though.

There was a guy on here for years that was a mechanic that specialised on LPG,but can’t remember his name and he hasn’t been here for a while.Might be worth a PM if someone chimes in with his details.
