V8 Disco gas conversion

Has anyone done a straight gas setup on a 3.5/3.9?

With straight gas do you still have to use the ecu, as it only controls air/fuel?

Can remove the ECU as it doesn;t control timing;)

Unless its 96 onwards..... the ECU then controls the Dizzy
