I have a 3.9 on gas and my Tdi is booked in,3 month wait to get done and I agree that the range of the V8 isn't much but I keep it in good order and after a dyno tune every 8-12 months it runs smooth and is a good cruiser.The Tdi really gets a wiggle on,I have driven one on gas and it will only cost me a grand after the rebate and that won't take long to pay back.
