Wow! What an adventure. I can't wait to see more pics and read all about your trip. We're hoping to do a similar trip some time in the next few years.
Enjoy the rest of your travels.
Cheers

See photos in Gallery for a few of the > 6000 'graphs taken so far - a bit of culling and editing will be required before a proper presentation of a very interesting and thoroughly enjoyable trip so far. Three weeks to go before return to Aus on 1st September.

Correct re Namibia - We started in Cape Town on 10th July and spent three weeks travelling north through Namibia Desert, then east to Botswana, finishing that leg at Fitzroy Falls. Then five days in the eastern highlands of Zimbabwe off the tourist route with a friend who grew up there and whose family still live there. Just finished eight days 'chillaxing' on Zanzibar (4 days at Stone Town followed by 4 on the beach on NE coast) and are now at Arusha at the foot of Mt Kilamanjero before we head off to the Serengetti for the next 14 days ................. then home.

Thanks Roger,
You have certainly covered some ground and must have seem some amazing stuff. We never got to Zimbabwe unfortunatley as it was pretty volatile in 2005 to take the rental vehicle etc. Africa is certainly a special place and once you have been there you get the bug and can't help but return, we met loads of travellers who said the same. Would love to catch up on your return and hear more about your trip. We are just down the road in Hornsby.
Cheers

Matemwe was certainly a nice place to relax for a few days. Just arrived in Nairobi this afternoon and heading down towards Kilamanjaro tomorrow after catching up on 100 odd emails.
Ngorongoro, Serengetty and Maasi Mara were all amazing. A few of my 10,000 + 'graphs will be posted when time permits.
