never got up there myself, my mates went up there one sundey while i was chasing a rather nice girly.
did a few trips up to heart break hill and cut my 4wding teeth on the steps at Oxford falls, grew up just over the hill and was up there most weekends, or down at the shoalhaven.
those were the days!

what a great shot of a great camp site. I still have a rooftent exactly the same as this one.. last big trip with it was around Australia in a defender a couple of years ago. Its getting pretty tired now :(

Great memories. I remember doing Wirraba Ridge in a WW2 Willys with 3 of us in it. As far as being able to run any of those trip destinations from 1979 there would only be one or two you could do these days if you were lucky.
