Even with a solid roof & no apparent leaks, the gauges fog up. LRs fix for Defenders was to drill a small hole in the housing for ventilation.

A 2 litre can will cover the roof panel with up to a couple of coats applied with a small paint roller.

If you want better coverage over the whole tarp, get 4 litres and let it dry between coats.

Dry seal doesn't discolour the fabric like some other brand products.

Leave a tub of that anti damp stuff in there works a treat.

From delivery in 91 until we got the big frown face in (iirc) 94, we ran our RFSV s with tops off, doors off and canopies off. Patrolling around east coast FNQ, not renowned for widespread drought.
Foggy gauges the only issue. That and a wet arse ;)
