    Question Perentie New buyer

Hi, im looking into perenties and im really interested in the ffr and surveillance as they both have the extra storage behind the doors, im aware one has power steering and an aux tank. Im wondering what tyres/tires can fit under the stock guards as i want a larger footprint on stone when i 4x4, i have in mind 245/75/16. I plan to put anodized check on the side combined with the keswick green body and if anyone knows the measurements for the anodized plates from a past experience what they may be. I've been looking into them and found they dont come with lockable doors or key-start ignition. im aware from this forums on how to put the barrels in but im unaware of what they might be or are. im also curious if a p plater will be able to use the perentie with a turbo in NSW. Where may i be able to find a 1990 ute turret in nsw for low $$$ as im planning on removing the fabric and cage as im kind of into the whole ute look and i like the feeling of a secure cab because i would have a gut feeling some smart person would love to just cut their way into my ute. Im also aware on how the window slides and because its hot i dont know how they hold themselves in position, and if its the metal plate that just flops onto the rail is there a way on how to make it lock wherever it likes. One more thing haha, im also curious on how the land rover will take attachments like bolted on tool boxed and stuff like that as im worried about the tray in the ute back if it will bend or do something that can be avoided, in other words im unaware if they used aluminium for the floor of the tub and worried if ill damage it if i customize it.
    Thanks!

    Re-door locks.
I believe it is just a matter of inserting the barrels and breaking some weld. This has been discussed a few time on here and REMLR. Have a search.

    Re-ute cab.
Again, discussed several times on here and REMLR. Have a browse and a search.
    I've found a few.

    Truck cab Conversion

Re-the aluminium bolt on bits, have a browse in the Defender section.
