Has anyone seen a 6x6 GS with winch go through the auctions?

Anywhere between 8 and 28k depending on condition and how many bidders want it.

Which is between 4 and 14 times what they would have cost new.. We are talking about what the Army guys knew as the MkV, aren't we? That winch on it's own is worth the asking price. It was a ripper. Be careful though. There was a shear pin in the drive for it. If you broke it you had overloaded it. People put other things in it's place, which wasn't a good idea.

MkV was an Acco. He's referring to a Perentie 6x6 here. The winches on them have a torque limiter in the pto. No shear pins like the old Thomas ones.
