Thanks gents, Bacchus Marsh is a long haul from here.....but tempted, all the same if Pete is up for visits.

In the interests of lower noise and vibration, would it be economically reasonable to put taller diffs in? I would expect the turbo'd engine would pull a higher ratio with no trouble - but then I have never driven an Isuzu powered vehicle. A four litre Turbo Perkins pulls my 5 ton Oka happily at 100 k's at about 2,400 revs. On the flat, that is........

    Cheers.

More power from the Isuzu is easy and there are people out there who have installed taller diffs, yes. They will then cruise all day at 100.

They will do 100 all day as they are, but you'd need earmuffs...
