How many Perenties left to sell off?

Is anyone keeping a register of Perenties sold thru Greys to date? - I have googled the hell out of it, but nothing.

Particularly interested in the 6x6 variants, and what is left - any leads much appreciated....

Not sure what's left but there are plenty out there for sale in the private market, although some are asking dumb prices, but there are solid, sorted vehicles out there for decent money.

I keep getting emails from Australian Frontline Machinery, who seem to handle most of the sales through Greys. I reckon they are drip feeding them to keep demand up. Also, bear in mind that the ARA still has some in service. From what I'm hearing, through my RAEME connections, they are glad they do, as the G-Wagen is a flop, so far. That isn't so bad, as LRs had to go through many modifications as well.

Thanks, I'll keep looking into the private market, certainly reassuring being able to test drive etc. So far I've only found the dumb price end of the market!

Try to find someone whose SWMBO told them to "get rid of that thing".

Not exactly an authoritative source, but the guy on the desk when I picked up my gearbox said there would be vehicle sales all through 2018.

What sort of price range are you thinking of? although some 6x6's went at auction for low to mid teens, most have gone high teens into the 20's. The private market is around $20 to $30K depending on model and condition. Seen them privately for under $20K but those have been pretty crap - been keeping an eye out myself as if I buy another LR is will almost certainly be a 6x6.

He he - seen plenty hit the market weeks after auction with that listed as the reason. 😆

    Hmmm...

Just got a filthy look from SWMBO when I mentioned that just now.... 😇

And so she should. Yvonne wants a 6x6 as well.
