    Yeah. The Hilux took over $110 to fill it yesterday - first time I’ve put more than $100 in it ever.

    For ages, I've been fortunate enough to avoid the name brand fuel station luxury tax, and have had a couple of options for cheaper diesel by about 15-20 cpl less than the name brands.

    80-ish Lt usually costed about $110 or so.
    Got a fright yesterday needing $127 at $151.7 cpl!

    Diesel and petrol are both a lot dearer than that here - mid to high 160s. The A$ has fallen.
    It actually cost $51 to fill up the little Mazda 2 the other day!

    Yeah, you're right. Les hiddens pays for diesel.. Does it sound better if I said it would cost $270 to fill the 101 at the moment? Only problem is it is undergoing some work at the moment so won't be near a petrol pump for a couple of months I should think.
