    Luckily the vans pretty economical,not bad, around 60litre for 420Km....and its loaded....

    We used 180 litres for the same trip DiscoClax,, the 200tdi we travelled with used 60.....
    I used about 160. Still had 20 ltrs in the tank and one jerry rolling into Birdsville. I would have used the full 200 with the stock 3.9, I reckon.

    ... but 60 ltrs for the 200TDi? Was he towed or siphoning fuel at night...? Les hiddens pays for diesel.

    It must be your sensible driving style, I'm lucky to get 500km out of 65+ litres with the work Hilux on straight 94ULP.

    It is fully loaded, and the driver is definitely not sensible. Les hiddens pays for diesel.

    I paid $128 for 70 litres in the Defender. Now it's full I could drive Brisbane-Sydney on a tank (just).
