    Is that not some form of insanity, I mean really if I was some sort of nut job to pay that I would have bought 4 or 5 4x4 Perenties instead, surely that would be more fun and prolly less insane

    No offense intended IF the new owner is a AULRO member (but I somehow doubt it, no nut jobs here right??)

    I thought it would go for around $30-35K, but it's rarity obviously set a buyers premium. Then again, what did they cost new and what can you buy as an 'equivalent' vehicle nowadays? Good luck to the new owner I reckon - a forever car. I would love one!

    I was in the running briefly but once the number began with something greater than a 3, i bowed out. Agree and hope it's a 'forever' truck for whomever won it. I've heard before there were only 26 made, so they will not come up that ofren, therefore this bloke was set on getting one and this was his (or her) shot. Good for them, but too rich for my blood.
