    4x4 transmission for 6x6

Living in USA and now having two Perentie 6x6. Parts are not easy to get here.
One of cars doesn't stay in high range, something wrong with the transfer case. I already learned that the parts are very expensive and not compatible with normal LT95 which I have plenty laying around.
Can now buy local a LT 95 Perentie but for a 4x4 . Is it possible to switch the 3rd axle output from one to the other adn would this transmission work for my car?

Yes the transmissions are the same basically and you can just add the 3rd axle drive onto the 4x4 box to convert to 6x6. However there are a couple of things to watch. If the transmission came from an RFSV variant it will have different gearing in the transfer case and also the 4x4 box runs different speedo gears to the 6x6 to compensate for different diff ratios. But all are changeable.
