I still have both sedimenters in my 6x6 and have also put a filter in between the pollak valve and the lift pump. Saves pulling that bloody banjo bolt out to clean the strainer in it. For the sake of a $15 filter annually it is a lot easier.

Iam on the the same page as BEAMAN, retain the sedimenters as standard, they perform an essential function, I installed a 296 filter/ primer before the lift pump, #1 as a pre filter before the lift pump, #2 for the convenience of a lift pump at a more easier to access location to prime system. People over look the significance of needing a sedimenter which prolongs the life of a filter.
