Rang my rep at CBC

50178 is a very old number maybe PRB?

TC12195 is the 3/8 wide seal @ $3.07ea

Other than the 1/3” stock that Statewide have the next closest off the shelf seal is

CR 23742 Full Metal Case Dual Lip @ $11.43 ea...these would be a big improvement construction wise than the TC12195

I've had some further advice whilst ringing around that adding some "hard setting gasket" to the seal once in place would prevent it from popping out that spare 1/8".
Sounds like a plan!

Onto my other supplier BSC (has same owner as CBC I believe) have 230 of the 1/2” wide in stock ex sydney.

Part number is E237.337.50
$6.00ea + GST and postage.

Oh my prices my above would be ex GST, all our prices my is always ex GST

That's interesting. BSC in Lonsdale SA couldn't help me the other day. I've rung them just now and they're getting them in at $8.00 each ex GST which is fine by me.

My BSC guy had to dig deep....easy if they seal had actually been stocked in their store, a little harder searching other stores.
