Not sure, Ive just read that the tracks trailer is comparable to the No5 500kg trailer, but it is coil sprung for the RAAF and their high speed stability requirements.

I might know a thing or two about Tracks, I have two. One of which I have converted to a camper.
I wouldn't convert a No5 to a camper. A Haulmark or Cooks, I would. Over a No5 they have a tailgate and better suspension. The Tracks suspension is better but more complex.
Hey, Slunnie, did you see:

Thanks for this Mick, that looks good! Actually there are 3 that have just come up on the military auction also - the price came up quickly on these, it'll be interesting to see what they close at.
After a bit of bum scratching, I think I might be better off building one for what these are selling for.
The single axle trailers seem to have had hard use for driver training.
I note that many/most Haulmarks exhibit some drawbar damage (often minor) from jackknifing when reversing.
I'm thinking that the cranked single drawbar of the Cooks which increases the clearance on the jerrycan holders of the towing vehicle may reduce the incidence of this.
In relation to Slunnie's comments I'm sure that a competent welder could make a similar useful trailer much cheaper, because for civvie use you obviously wouldn't include a lot of the fittings like lifting points, levelling posts, handbrake, extendable clearance lighting etc
Has anyone out there found the original paint for the Haulmark PT1 trailers. I have just purchased one which requires a little touch up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Look for any of the paint threads in the Military Landrover section.
Protec make it. Camouflage is what I think they call it.
