    Question No5 trailer bung...

    Hi All,
Can anyone tell me what the ‘huge’ 2”BSP bung is in the floor of the front left of my No5 trailer? Do all trailers have this? On top of the two Ronstan boat bungs.
Do not bother telling me if this is a special addition for sewerage cartage...
    Cheers!

I seem to recall many years ago,an Army driving instructor talking about it being used to attach a tap, or gate valve, hooked ip to the inlet of a fire-fighting pump, (with the trailer filled with water).

Interesting. Sounds likely! Any idea if all the trailers have this bung?

I wonder... it may be - I had heard of the bladders but I’ve never seen one. An outlet there would be an ideal place....

Ive seen it used for the outlet of refuelling bladders and water bladders.

    Not all trailers have them.

Ive also seen a couple of trailers modded with a similar orifi for having generators secured in the trailer and the exhaust run out through the the tub as well as power leads run in for Coms gear.
