I went and checked out the Townsville vehicles that starts on the 11 Dec today. They are all write offs. Three of the 110s had significant panel damage from roll overs etc and the 4th is a non goer I believe. The 6x6 is in poor shape and the 6 wheel polaris bikes are very damaged. 1/2 trailers look okay though.

What's wrong with the 6X6, it looks ok in the pics with no mention what makes it incomplete and not operational (apart from the missing mirrors).

I don't know. It didn't look like it was a runner. All of the tray was bundled up in bits. Not sure if it was all there.

Cheap parts for a lifetime maybe:p..maybe just break it down into bits and put everything in the shed, if you have the room;)

awesome. Could be a bargain or a disaster? I'm really just after the engine and gearbox etc for my Defender. Is it worth a 800km round trip for a look when you can't start and drive them?

I would gamble it, what could be wrong with the engine and gearbox? Provided they are actually in the vehicle!
