the key barrel is a direct swap item, some vehicles have keys and locks, primarily the vehicles from chocko units or high publicity units

The tourists told me their unit had no key ignition... I was confused by that when they said it and asked if it was a starter button arrangement with an isolator key elsewhere. They said no... no key at all.
Maybe I should have taken off instead of taking photo's!!!
LOL, ONLY KIDDING!
A keyless ignition barrel on LH side of steering wheel. Imagine the key is in there when you turn it, and it starts (and as mentioned, some do have a key that fits there)
Others had a fuse under the bonnet that disables the IP.
We need to start fitting noggie locks! :D
Just like they did in SVN, the tab with a hole welded onto the gearstick and a mating tab on the firewall and you locked the vehicle by putting it in reverse and with a padlock to keep it there. If someone was driving an Aussie Land Rover down the road in reverse, when he should have been going forward, you knew he stole it. ;)
G'day everyone ... Like USI, just picked up one of the soft tops with trailer at the first Auction in Sydney then signed up to the Forum. My son's vehicle but I have been playing with it for the past couple of weeks, yeah it drives like a Truck but bucket loads of character and not sure if I'm gonna give it back to him. Price was pretty good when you compare it to the alternatives like a 15 year old Hilux or similar with 300 thous+ km. Low k's for the age, clean and straight and still pretty tight, bum basic, the Landrover is ideal for an 18 year old who likes the bush. At least I know he isn't going to loose his licence for speeding anytime soon and he can stop over, roll out his swag in the back after those regular teenage parties. Makes my Wrangler look like a toy, should have picked up a soft top for me. So far so good... Mark
I see that Cousins mob have dropped the price (a bit) on some of their selections...now under 20k.

Hi Guy's, My brother-in-law is interested in a 6x6 ute. Does anybody know what sort of ball park figure these are going for?
Also I heard there was a load of them at a yard in Eagle Farm Brisy. Anybody know anything about these?
He is also keen to talk to someone that know more about them than I do if anyone loves to talk 6x6 Isuzu's???
Cheers,
The REMLR forum seems to be keeping a closer eye on the prices. Check there.
