Hi all,
Where do you find out when the next auctions in Adelaide will be held?
I assume they will have a few over next couple years??

Welcome to the forum.
Keep your eye on Greys or this thread.

Thanks
Am now living in the US at moment but having spent 11 years in the army starting as an army "appy" and driving around in both Perenties and "Mogs" during that time a Perentie modded up to tow my Xtrk Ultimate Camper to some spots that I was reluctant to push the 150 Prado sounds a plan for when I get back...........
So may have to do a remote "buy".

Is there anybody going to Minto in the next couple of days that could check out a service book for me?
I've chucked a bid down & would like to know if mileage is genuine.
Thanks
David

Is there a market for the 24v alternator? The 4 olympic tyres are near brand new should I save them , sell them or run them out? The 2 batteries in the rear seem buggered but once I change it all to 12v I will get new ones. There is a slight fuel leak dripping from somewhere near injector pump and landing on front diff - any ideas? Thanks in advance. Seeya. Paul.

Congratulations, you are the new owner of a 'Senior Commander', one of only 11 ever made!
It has that name as it was destined to be a staff car for the big brass, Brigadeers and such.
If you keep it close to standard you will have an appreciating asset!
Or at least keep the standard parts in storage.
Either way, there is a health market for those who wish to sell their ex-mil bits. Whatever you do, I urge you to join the Register of Ex-Military Land Rovers (remlr.com)
Many are members here also, I am one.
there is a wealth of archive material and you won't be razzed for modifying your vehicle if you choose.

Found my answer..
Speedo has been replaced twice
Now this raises another question. Do they add the klms from the "new" speedo to the original mileage in the book?. It seems that they did this for a while, then forgot?
I have to admit being confused. pics added with ARN blanked out as I might still bid

G'Day Deejay.
As you have found, some practices in the GM120 can be variable. That is why you need to spend some time going through it.
I have seen a number of vehicles bid high due to a low speedo on the ass umption that it was a rebuild. DIN DONG!
All it took was a call to Grays as you have found to get an excerpt of the GM120.
I find the last 3 pages of Part 4, Maintanence/ Repairs etc and the most recent tech inspections, are usually sufficient to indicate go/ no-go.
