What I have on my bench today

    Hi all.
I started a 1:35 defender WMiK about 18mths ago. For one reason or another i had to put it aside. Well I started it up again.
The the first photo is what Im planning to build. I have some really nice figures from Accurate Armour to go with it when its finished. I'll hopefully make a vignette once all the pieces are finished.
I started with the Hobby Boss kit and bought a set of Blindo wheels and an etch brass kit from PH designs in the UK. And a Legends resin update kit. I have an assortment of odds and sods in the spares box to hopefully make something intresting.

Painting has begun on the WMiK

So I started to spray up the sub-assemblies. Its starting to take shape. I painted the body in enamal so I'll put it aside for a week to let the paint dry and harden then I can start to build up the back and assemble the sub-assemblies.

    Cheers

    Nino.

    Defender WIMK kit update.

I did a bit more work today. Im off with a knee reco so Ive got a few days off work.
I assembled all the sub-assembalies and started the chipping paint work. Once that is dry I'll spray with clear gloss and add some washes around the high and low points. Lastly the weathering process that will blend all processes together.

Great job Landy. Bit of weathering on it and a little display it will look sensational. I used to make models before I got the defender, never had the eye for making the vignettes though. Had a bunch of planes hanging from fiskphing line from my bedroom ceiling was best I could do
