    Live Steam Models

    Some may have heard that he who dies with the most toys wins
    and other just like to drool over toys while they are unable to work on their pride and joy in the driveway,as some one said in these posts we want it bigger.so if these foto's don't cause a riot i will post some more if wanted.the larger the model the better i say.
    So to satisfy some of my newfound AULRO friends
    i give you 2 classics that i have built myself.

    1.is a 6x6 off road 7.5cc engine,3speed auto g/box FWD&REV radio controlled all wheel steering "TOY" truck,Waiting to be fitted with CDL for traction.Dimesions 87cmL x 47cmW,18cmx10cm wheels. 10kg weight.

    2. A model of a late 1800's "Seeking" steam tug 44" long 13"beam powered by a Vee twin 15mmBorex15mmStrx2 oscillating steam engine horizontal boiler with auto feed to fill boiler from 3litre tank in bow propane heat for boiler ,duration 2 hours on 1 tank of camping gas,uses about 2 litres of water for the duration.Weight on water loaded is 44lbs or 20+ kilo's.95mmdia 4 blade prop.

    My 1.10 scale 90's have arrived and I'm of and building, starting with the chassis out with the shocks and in with the coil suspension next will be the body mounts front bar and rear bar, then the body work will start.

    Ha ha ha, I love watching these.

    It's been asked before but does anyone know where you can buy these complete.

    eBay have the shells but you have to buy a driveline and put them together.

    I want a complete unit ready to go out of the box.

    Not quite out of the box but a little assembly & you will be off:

    Gelande II Truck Kit w/Defender D90 Body Set

    You will have to make your own power bulge if you want to make it a Puma version!
